Everyone at Tennebrose University says Dr. William Hadder is crazy, or worse — a murderer. Fifteen years ago, he and a group of fellow students went into the North Woods with their professor as part of an archaeological dig at the original Winslow settlement. A week later they were all dead, except Will. He said the Winslow Witch killed them. No one believed him, but no one was ever prosecuted, either.

And now, fifteen years later, grad student Reid Atwood is going back to those same woods with Dr. Hadder to learn his professor's secret or die trying. After all, they also say curiosity killed the cat...
