Tidbits

• This book was originally based on the premise of Harley Quinn and the Joker and trying to figure out how an intelligent, highly-educated woman could fall in love with someone who was clearly insane.

• Instead of speaking in riddles, Leander uses literary quotes to confuse people. It's also his way of testing them, to see if they're smart enough to read between the lines.

• MYSTERY is entirely in Lorelei's POV because I wanted readers to unravel Leander's history and personality alongside her, to question his motivations, his sanity, and especially his guilt or innocence.

• I hate coming up with titles. I basically stole this one from Edgar Allan Poe's The Mystery of Marie Rogêt.
